The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) is Canada’s largest Union. With more than a half million members across Canada, CUPE represents workers in Health Care, Education, Municipalities, Libraries, Universities, Social Services, Public Utilities, Transportation, Emergency Services and Airlines.

CUPE 905 is a composite group consisting of over 3,000 members working in the Municipal, Library, and Long Term Care Sectors across York Region and Simcoe County. We as a team are committed to operating in an open and transparent manner, with decision making completed in a democratic fashion. Our commitment extends beyond but includes protecting the rights of our members in the workplace, and bargaining equitable collective agreements inclusive of good wages, benefits, and general working conditions.
